Why I’m Going to the #140Conf Los Angeles & Why You Should, Too!

If you’ve never been to a #140Conf before, listen up nice and good. If you have, you’ll know what I’m talking about. But stick around a minute for why I’m going to #140Conf Los Angeles.

Here are my Top 6 Reasons:

  1. I went to #140Conf San Francisco & was super inspired by Jeff Pulver. I mostly appreciated his talk on Creating Your Own Legacy. If you know me, you know that when I’m inspired I “carry on….”
  2. 12seconds.TV. The Co-founder, Sol Lipman (@thesolster), is going to be presenting. I’m highly intrigued by them, and still looking to dive into the platform more deeply.
  3. Foodie Panel. There is a “Foodie Panel” presenting. I’m a (Mis) Fit Foodie-Fitness Junkie, so I can’t help but be thrilled for the panel!
  4. The Music Box in Hollywood. Right out of college I lived in L.A. for a 3-month stunt. I’m excited to go back and hang out for a minute!
  5. Inspiration, motivation and overall passion. The #140conf is about how people are utilizing social media for things that matter to them. I love hearing the “stories” people have. I love learning from others. And I love the energy that flows through the air and surrounds it all!
  6. And last, but not least of course, I’m headed to the #140Conf Los Angeles because Mr. Jeff Pulver was kind enough to invite my “voice” to the stage! I am speaking on Day 2. Title: iBrandY, about my passion with utilizing social media and creating Campaign #HireHoff to find a job.

I’m sure by now you’ve already heard that Sinbad & Nick Cannon will be there speaking, too. I’m not expecting to rub any elbows….though a joke from Sinbad in #140characters would just be splendid!

Hope to see you there!
