BonBons

I believe in BonBons. Not the traditional, but in my “Project BonBons.”

Social Media works best for those who are passionate about the “media, content and information” they share. I have a few great passions, one of them is health/fitness and all things foodie-related. It’s actually fairly intense.

So when a good friend of mine, Peg Pixie, came to me and said, “I need you to come to my rescue,” I jumped at the chance.

Peg Pixie’s Bio: True, Strange & Interesting Facts

    1. 30-something addicted to chocolate, ketchup, lollipops, cake and soda
    1. By Day: Office slave, secret twitter-junkie
    1. By Night: Food, fun, friends (and more food.)
    1. States, “I need to lose weight, but I can’t lose weight. I want to eat healthy, but I can’t afford it.”
    1. Has no mouth filters. Says what she wants and when she wants.
    1. 3 words she uses to describe herself: delicious. candy. coating.
    1. She is @pegsbonbons because about 3 years ago I started calling her, “My little Peggy Bon Bon.” (Of course I meant this is the most sincere way possible. After all, Peg is one of my best friends!) Do you remember Peg Bundy from Married with Children? She was as crude, rough and blunt as they come. Furthermore, she lived a completely unhealthy life – barely ever eating; just smoking and eating bon-bons all day. My Peg doesn’t smoke. But she has her own habits she’s desperately trying to break. And secretly, I know she loves being Peggy Bon Bon!
    1. Married. No children.
    1. Peg’s motto for me helping her: “Saving (not-so-private) Peg, one day at a time.”

I’m all about helping Peg clean her dirty palette up. Peg Tweets, and I ultimately provide solutions (through health, fitness and foodie tips & tricks). After all, what good is being “social” with your “health-fitness-foodie-media” if you don’t aim to listen and then solve? I’m all ears, Peg!
