Pulling Tin

Keith Privette - socialmediaday2010
My Top Follow Friday today is your not-so-average Corporate Business Analyst. I know many a “BA’s” out there, but none who also give some “BS” with the “BA!” He is a guy who truly puts the “S” in “Social.” He gets conversation, connection and the art of listening.

You’ve seen him yakking around Twitter, but here are my 4 Reasons why you must follow @KeithPrivette today if you don’t already:

  1. Poke the Tiger. Keith uses this term a lot. And he means what he says. He says and does things that might “stir-it-up” a little. And that’s an admirable quality. What’s the fun in life without a little stir?
  2. Humor. Keith is hilarious. I guarantee a good laugh each day you follow him (sorry Keith, now you have to be funny)! Example: I asked him to email me a picture of himself. He replied, “oh to choose that would take me a couple of days……all my photos are #bluesteel! #SARCASM.”
  3. Free Arts Minnesota. Keith is currently on the Board of Directors for @freeartsmn. Free Arts Minnesota, “brings together adult volunteer mentors and at-risk children through the creative and healing arts.” They believe that “art heals!”
  4. @PullingTin. Keith loves his RV. Who wouldn’t love an RV that is hip, cool, travels everywhere and Tweets? Yes, his RV Tweets! His RV has a Bio, “Pulling Tin HQ’s 35ft of fun a Keystone Springdale 303BHSSR: The family that RV’s together stays together! Thanks #UAV (2004 Excursion) for the Pull.” And a Blog! Keith is doing a great job with making this RV come to “life.” It has a personality all it’s own. You can’t help but follow it!

Keith Privette - Tweet Magnet

Make sure you give this guy “2-thumbs-up” today and give a Follow Friday shoutout to Mr. Keith Privette, aka – Tweet Magnet!

Today I re-confirmed (yet again):

Each time the social is taken offline, the actual connection is taken to a new level.

From 1,500 miles away, I coordinated (along with Bob Stanke) a Tweetup with all my Minnesota Tweeps. I called it, #CaribouChat13.

The VIP (Very Important Peeps) List Included:

An amazing crew, with intelligent “social” minds made for fantastic discussion, conversation and offline engagement. I have several postings flowing through my mind that will come from today!

The overall theme/question that seemed to emerge from each discussion held today revolved around:

With the constantly-changing viewpoints on how “open” the social space is becoming, how will companies (small, medium and large) adapt to, grow with and embrace this?

CaribouChat13 was a huge success! And as I mentioned – there will be much more to come in the following day/weeks (yes, that’s how much we talked about).

For now, though, all I have to say is….Ladies & Gentleman, get your engines ready with @pullingtin and keep your minds “open” for the Social “People” Revolution!
